Who We Are

We are the originators of High Speed Spreader bars.  Back in 1989, we began experimenting with trolling patterns, in an attempt to develop the "next generation Daisy Chain".  This work eventually resulted in our unique REEL SEAT SPREADER BARS.

Twelve years later, we now have over 50 different spreader bars available, capable of fulfilling any fishing situation you may encounter.

What makes our bars unique?  One word: Titanium.  Early on we recognized that for a bar to work, properly spreading out and pulling lures, it needed to be both strong, lightweight, corrosion resistant, durable and "springy".  We looked at plastics, which satisfied our weight, corrosion and "spring" needs, but we had concerns with long term durability and strength. We then turned to metals.  The key was corrosion.  Several grades of stainless steel were evaluated, but flunked due to weight, and "spring" issues.  This lead us directly into premium aircraft grade titanium.  It offers an excellent strength to weight ratio, resists corrosion in the harshest marine environment, and is elastic, providing "spring" to allow lures to bounce back to their correct trolling location.

Reels

Shimano Top Shelf dealer:    This is a distinction only select fishing tackle retailers can claim.  What does this mean to you?  To start, it guarantees that you will receive the best prices on any Shimano reel.  In addition, because of our status, we stock most of the reels in the Shimano line-up.  Take a look at, or call, other tackle shops either on the 'net, or in the phone book.  If they tell you the reel is not in stock and will take several days to get in, or maybe it is even unavailable, they are not Top Shelf.

Rods

We feature rods from several manufacturers, at varying price points.  On the top end, we carry several different models in varying series of Calstar and G. Loomis rods in stock.  We also carry selected models of St. Croix, Seeker and Shimano rods.

Lures

We carry, in addition to our Spreader Bars, lures from several major manufacturers, including: Sevenstrand, Yo-Zuri, Pakula, Black Bart, Sumo Tackle, Zuker, C&H, Boone, Tournament Tackle

These lures are available either unrigged, or rigged on mono or fluorocarbon.
